It’s kinda late to write down about our trip to Air Asia. But, since I’m just so busy with my task, assignment, responsibilities in my Residential Area, Meeting and etc, I can’t write any little thing about our wonderful trip there. Poor me…
The trip was happened on 12 March 2010 at Air Asia Academy. As a Project Manager of this trip, I am so thankful to my efficient Vice Project Manager Mr. KA and my excellent secretary, Miss Melanie Ong. At the moment, we are having our mid semester exam, and even worse, our lecturer cum our Project Adviser have to go to Jordan for a conference. I had already completed the paper work of course, it’s my responsibility. Melanie called the Air Asia, and she really did a great job. Once COB approved our paper work, it’s the time for us to settle down about the transportation, and other administrative task. And this task has been done by KA, who is helped me a lot. Sometimes, I guess he deserve to get my position of course! Until the night for our departure time, (hehehe we are going by bus not flight) I still can’t breathe easily.
We transit at KLIA for shower and pray, then went to LCCT for our breakfast. Once we are ready, Air Asia Academy was the next destination. Our arrival is kindly welcomed by Miss Safina, who is very friendly, as well as Mr. Liew who is very humble and has a great sense of humor. In short, I feel so glad because they are not underestimating us even though we are just a student you know. They treat us very nicely, and shortly briefing about Air Asia history (even though we really did a research before we went there).
The time they explain about Air Asia history, a group of their stewardess coming in and OMG, they are not only just gorgeous, but they are also very friendly. I am not saying this because of I’ve made a trip to Air Asia and not to the other Airlines Company in Malaysia, but this is the reality. My lecturer, Mr. Hasnizam also seems very happy to see them on the moment. Haha it is when the naughty guy in him acting…
Mr. Liew is our tourist guide on the day. He brings us to all around the academy. Furthermore, he gives us a chance to drive the simulator. My lecturer handles it and we are assume as dead because the plane is crushed! Hahaha poor pilot!
Simulator of course the best experience for us because it is really like handling the real plane. Air Asia staffs who are handling the stimulator also a very nice person. They answered all the questions patiently even though sometime when I think it back, it sounds kinda silly. They are very friendly too! How many times did I mention about friendly here? Haha they deserve it of course!
We visit their café, grooming room, classes, and in short almost one academy. It is wonderful to be there! The most attractive view of course about their wall. Graffiti on the wall is like a story. Tony Fernandez with his team, as well as the logo ‘Air Asia Allstars’. According to Mr. Liew, Air Asia believes that everybody can be a star. See? They are not underestimate people at all! Hihi even though we do realize that to be a part of them, we must fulfill the requirement. Oh, can I apply any administration or marketing position at Air Asia? Hehe… it must be a great experience to be a part of them.
This wasn’t my first time on visiting a big company like Air Asia. I went to several companies before, but the team is quite underestimating us. Maybe because we are still pursuing our degree and they fell that they are much better than them. I don’t have to mention their name of course; it will embarrass them of course. But being with Air Asia is the greatest moment for completing our final project.
To be honest, actually Air Asia is not our first choice. The first choice was Media Prima. Melanie communicate with their PIC, she is very friendly and kind. However, the date we recommended is not compatible with them. They are only free around April which we are having our final exam on that month. Even though we are not able to be at Media Prima, but yet I still want to thank them because they treat us nicely. In other words, negotiable.
After discussing with our members of committee, then we agree to choose Air Asia and again, Melanie plays her role as our great secretary. Thank God, Air Asia accepts our proposal. Why do I choose these 2 big company even though they from different industry? Because their marketing strategy is GREAT! That is why.
There are a lot of memories to be share here about Air Asia but I just don’t know how. They are just so wonderful, and I really adore their spirits to give only the best for their clients. Cheap price doesn’t mean cheap in servicing people. They always concern about their clients satisfaction and during the visit, they are also concern about our satisfaction as well.
There is nothing wrong to be in Air Asia, it is a wonderful trip and I am very proud to list down everything we get during the trip for our report. I can see my Dean smiling when he read my report about our input when we are there. He satisfied and he said, next time we can organize this trip to the others as well. Last word, Go Further, Air Asia!!!!
